ADRIANNA TAYLOR ART EXHIBIT AT FOUNTAIN ARTS CENTER GALLERY

Artist Adrianna Taylor will welcome guests to her exhibit “Reflections” at The Fountain Arts Center Gallery in Belmont, New York on Saturday, May 4th, from 2-5PM. The exhibit features a variety of pieces, ranging from vibrant paintings to delicate drawings and prints. Fabric collages and hand-made paper pieces complete the exhibit of the talented artist.

Ms. Taylor currently resides in the beautiful town of Stanardsville, Virginia, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There she works as a full-time entrepreneur building her business, Valley Arts, and helps to run a pottery shop and studio called Blue Ridge Pottery.

“I’ve been an admirer of the arts for as long as I can remember,” says Adrianna, “but I really discovered my love for the arts during my freshman year in high school. There, the love began to grow into a passion and a calling.” Following graduation, she attended Alfred University, where she studied Fine Arts and Art History. “Alfred is where I began to cultivate my skills and voice as an artist,” Taylor explains. That voice speaks clearly through her art, as she answers the call to “co-create” with the Master Creator. She strives to place a spotlight on the “invisible qualities” of His majestic creation, and offer viewers new perspectives of hope, peace, reflection, thought, and truth.

The exhibit is part of The Fountain Arts Center Artists Among Us project that features the work of selected artists at several sites throughout Allegany County. This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrants program of the New York State Council for the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered in Allegany and Wyoming Counties by the Arts Council for Wyoming County.

Light refreshments will be served following the recital.

The Bennett’s Creek Bible Church at 3740 State Route 248, Canisteo, New York will feature the Youth Choir and Strings Students on Sunday, May 5th at 1:30PM. The recitals are free and open to the public. They are supported by the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Arts & Culture Initiative, and a collaboration with the Knights Creek Evangelical Methodist Church Music Program made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrants program of the New York State Council for the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered in Allegany and Wyoming Counties by the Arts Council for Wyoming County.

The Gallery

The Gallery was the first capital project taken on by The Fountain Arts Center.  Originally the site served as the first bank in the village of Belmont; its vault, still a part of the gallery, stores the center’s art collection.

Welcome to The Fountain Arts Center

The Fountain Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to use the arts to help create a vibrant community a rural area.  It brings art to the public on “Main St.”

Its main goal was to preserve a historic architectural gem that was doomed to collapse and demolition on Schuyler St. in Belmont.  While on that ten-year journey to completely renovate the facility, it also brought hundreds of programs and exhibits to artists and audiences.

The Fountain Arts Center continues to provide opportunities for artist through its classes and outreach programs.  Additionally, it recognizes the value of the role the arts play in the emotional and mental well-being of a community, and strives to reach hearts through the arts.

It provides an oasis of peace, laughter, hope, enjoyment, personal fulfillment and growth.
